Documents

The scanning of documents is carried out using a through-feed method, which also allows for the scanning of large masses. The documents can be various documents from a search card index to loose papers and bindings that can be cut open. The digital images can be further processed by, for example, performing OCR text recognition on them. If the documents are fragile or torn, they can be scanned using a flatbed scanner.
